Weight Loss Clinic

Lasting weight loss, properly supported.

A GP-led weight loss programme combining licensed medication, lifestyle change and ongoing monitoring — designed for results that stick.

Other providers run a "prescribe and forget" service. We don't. Our GPs follow you through with regular blood monitoring and review appointments — so you stay safe, well, and on track to your goals.

Why a GP-led clinic

Safety first. Outcomes that last.

Weight loss medication can be transformative — but only with proper medical oversight. Don't risk a remote-only or non-medical service.

GMC regulated, fully indemnified

Our GPs are regulated by the General Medical Council and hold full medical indemnity. We follow UK clinical guidance — no shortcuts.

In-clinic blood monitoring

Baseline bloods before you start, and follow-up bloods through your programme — so we can see how you're responding and adjust as needed.

Real follow-up — every 4 weeks

Monthly review appointments with your GP by phone, video or in clinic. We monitor your physical and mental health every step of the way.

How the programme works

Four steps from first appointment to ongoing support.

A structured, safe pathway — with at least a week between bloods and your first GP review so we have your results to hand.

FAQs

Common questions about the Weight Loss Clinic.

How much weight can I expect to lose?

With consistent use and lifestyle changes alongside, you should expect to lose at least 5% of your body weight over 3–6 months. Most patients notice a difference within 2–4 weeks of starting.

Long-term success depends on combining medication with the lifestyle changes we'll work on together — food habits, movement, sleep, stress management.

Why do I need bloods done before I can be prescribed?

Bloods give your GP a clear picture of your health before you start — kidney function, liver function, glucose, thyroid, lipids and other markers. This protects you from prescribing decisions that could cause harm and gives us a baseline to monitor against as you progress.

It's the difference between a safe medical programme and an unsafe online-only service.

Can I do this entirely online?

No. Your initial bloods appointment must be in clinic so we can take physical measurements alongside the lab samples. Once you're set up, follow-up reviews can be done by telephone, video or in clinic — whichever suits you each month.

What if a medication doesn't suit me?

If you experience troublesome side effects or aren't responding as we'd hoped, your GP will review and either adjust the dose, switch to a different medication, or — if appropriate — pause treatment. The point of monthly reviews is to catch and respond to these issues early.

How is this different from buying GLP-1 drugs online?

Most online-only services run a "prescribe and forget" model — minimal medical assessment, no in-person bloods, no ongoing follow-up. Our model is the opposite: a full medical assessment, baseline bloodwork, monthly GP reviews, and proper monitoring throughout. This is how the medications were intended to be used.

Is it for everyone, or just for clinically obese patients?

Eligibility depends on your BMI, medical history and goals. Your GP will assess at your initial review whether weight loss medication is clinically appropriate and which options fit your specific situation.
