Why Choose Duality Healthcare?
We offer expert treatment at affordable prices, ensuring high-quality care accessible to all. With Duality, convenience is paramount – during your initial visit we can ultrasound your area of concern, identify if an injection will be of benefit and swiftly administer injections under ultrasound guidance without the need for a GP referral.
Additionally, we prioritise your time by frequently accommodating same-day appointments.
GP / Sports Medicine Injections
Our GPs provide ‘landmark guided injections’. Based on their clinical assessment of your problem they palpate your bones and soft tissues to guide needle insertion. Price £180.
Ultrasound Guided Injection
Ultrasound-guided injections are the gold standard in injections. Due to the many benefits, we use Ultrasound Guidance for many of our injections, based on patient preference. Price £280.
Do I need a referral?
You do not require a GP referral. In general, it will be possible for you to have an injection at your initial visit. If our sonographer feels your injury/condition or general medical condition requires the input of a GP or that further investigations are needed prior to having an injection, they will discuss this with our in-house or Sports Medicine GP.

GP Injections
Quick & effective £180
If you suffer from joint pain caused injury or arthritis a GP, Consultant or Physiotherapist may suggest a steroid joint injection (corticosteroid). Steroids help to reduce inflammation which aids the reduction of pain and swelling in your joints to allow them to move more easily.
Steroid injections are often used with other medicines and physiotherapy. Such injections are not a cure for the condition affecting your body, but they may ease symptoms.
During your consultation, the clinician will detail possible side effects and complications and how they can affect you.
Sports Clinic Injections
A range of options
If you can get to our clinics in Ballymena and Omagh, our Sports Medicine qualified and experienced GPs can offer a range of therapies for injury including corticosteroid injections and hyaluronic joint injections.

Ultrasound Guided Injections
Gold Standard Care £280
Our in-house sonographer specialises in joint injections. We provide diagnostic joint scans prior to any course of treatment and utilise ultrasound-guided injections to maximise the effectiveness of steroid injections.
Book a diagnostic ultrasound & subsequent joint injection – for £280 total:
Diagnostic Scan £140 + Guided Injection £140
Why do we charge separately? Sometimes your scan will show pathology that is not amenable to an injection – we only proceed & charge for procedures which will be to your benefit.
