How to book your men’s health scan
These scans are undertaken by a qualified male sonographer and usually take 30 minutes. They are currently available in Newry & Omagh. You will be required to disrobe to expose the area being scanned and whilst lying on an examination couch, the jelly covered probe will be applied over the area being examined. Your report will be delivered to you electronically in PDF format within 48 hours. For examinations of the pelvis, bladder and kidneys we ask that you attend with a full bladder. For examinations of the abdomen and liver we ask that you fast for 6 hours prior to the appointment.
