FAQs

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need a GP referral?

No — you can book any of our allergy panels directly. There's no referral required. Just select the panel that fits your symptoms (or call us if you're unsure) and choose a time at the clinic of your choice.

How long does the appointment take?

The appointment is 15 minutes — a quick blood draw with a Duality nurse or healthcare assistant. You don't need to fast or do any special preparation.

When will I get my results?

Your blood sample is sent to the lab and reviewed by a Duality GP. We email your written report securely — usually within 72 hours.

Which panel should I choose?

Match the panel to your main symptom: hay fever or asthma → Rhinitis & Asthma; eczema or skin reactions → Atopic Dermatitis & Eczema; food reactions → Foods, Milk, Stone Fruit, or Nuts & Seeds depending on the suspected trigger; mixed symptoms → Food & Inhalants for the broadest screen.

If you're not sure, call us on 0330 094 6522 and we'll talk it through.

Can children be tested?

Yes — our Children's Panel is curated for the food and environmental triggers most often seen in children. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What's included in the price?

The amount paid at booking covers your clinician appointment — including the blood draw and your GP-reviewed report. The cost of the specific allergy panel (shown on each card above) is taken on the day, once you and your clinician agree on the right test for your symptoms.

Optional GP follow-up appointments to talk through your results are charged separately.

Not sure which allergy panel to choose?
