Value for money
Accessible services.
You don’t always need to see a Doctor first – we understand this. Patients want bloods done for lots of different reasons:
- A consultant needs it
- Clinic request
- Own knowledge
- Interest in your body
- Monitor performance
- Worry or concern
- Reassurance
- Family history
- Due to ‘googling’
We would advise you not to get bloods done to investigate symptoms, illness or unwellness. A normal set of bloods does not always indicate an absence of disease. You may have not chosen the correct test. A blood test may not be helpful in the diagnosis of a particular disease or set of symptoms. In these cases you risk false reassurance.
If you are worried about your health, speak to a Duality Healthcare Doctor first. They can guide you to what needs done.
If you have had bloods done and find abnormal results, you don’t understand them or they don’t show what you expect – make an appointment with one of our GPs – they will be happy to review your results & concerns and guide you on the next steps needed.
All our GPs have been trained in the UK, NHS experienced & attained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
